Please be advised that I had a cartrack unit installed on 18 May 2019 in a new Toyota fortuner. As per insurance we had a secon cartrack unit installed on 07 June 2023.
This vehicle was stolen on 12 May 2024. Morning in Krugersdorp. We ammidiactlly advised Cartrack who was immidiately confused as these 2 cartrack units was in 2 different cars. The one unit was in my fortuner and my second unit in another which I can still track op to this day.
Cartrack ignore me up to this day and do not want to take responsibility as the coud make such a big mistake.

Cartrack fitted 2 units in my fortuner as per insurance requirements. When it was stolen they relised that the one unit is installed in the wrong car. Could not trace one and is mow blaming us for not testing it. Obviously they did work as they picked up both signals. My car where it was stolen in Krugersdorp and the other one in Yeoville Johannesburg. No recovery. So insurance also do not want to pay because according to them I now only had 1 tracking device. All to catrack’s incopatance. Please think before you install cartrac as I have now lost my car and they do not want ta owner their advertisement of willing to pay R 150 000 if the cannot recover your vehicle
