Capitec - Debt prescription

Good day please see attached below emails. I wrote to Capitec and TFG for prescribed debt which I have not been able to pay since 2019 due to loss of Job. I haven't received any communications from them since then so I assumed that the debt has prescribed. I received this. Below email stating that I paid the account in 2020 of which I wasn't working in 2020 and it was during strict Lockdown regulations there is no way I could have paid this I lost my job in 2019 and paid an amount of R10000 to Capitec and I have never made any form of payment there after. There was no communication whatsoever to them. Please assist me with this thank you.
