I withdrew cash at an Engen garage in Mount Edgecombe, I received my confirmation sms as well my cash and left, 20 minutes later I received a sms stating cash withdrawal of the same amount from the same atm and a few minutes later another sms arrive stating cash withdrawal correction. Instantly I tried calling the the number on the sms I received, to no avail. I googled a capitec contact number and was transferred from consultant to consultant, their line was terrible and the consultants were barely audible. I proceeded to the nearest branch(Cornubia) and was assisted by a consultant who advised me that my money will be reversed into my account within 2 hours and I was provided with a WhatsApp number to track my incident. After 2 hours I received a sms stating that my dispute was closed. I tried to follow up on WhatsApp, however, I received "*Capitec Bank Assistant*
No incidents reported during the last 90 days" This is totally unprofessional and fraudulent.
