I find it abhorrent that a consumer had such poor service.
I looked through the website and found a paving brick that matched what I was looking for. I then called Builders Express Durban North, who said they could help but would need payment to proceed. Thinking that Builders Express Umhlanga would be more convenient, I called Builders Express Umhlanga and spoke with the manager. He said that I would need to make payment before they would order the pavers.

After sending an email to the store manager to confirm payment to Builders Express Umhlanga, I received the manager's response.
As per email response from the manager at Builders Express Umhlanga on the 17th of August “ We have escalated the matter to our National buyer as the supplier is only in Gauteng. The buyer is looking at alternatives as we have realized it is available online for KZN. I do apologise about this, this was an error. Our suppliers are trying to assist and it does look positive. Please allow me the opportunity to get the feedback to relay to you”.

I checked in daily, but the feedback was staying the same.

There are 3650 pavers in Builders Newcastle and 17 000 pavers in Builders Warehouse Strubensvalley, so why post an online advertisement and then claim you can't do it? At this point, Builders is using any excuse not to perform their duties, and I discovered stock sitting at other stores via the Builders website. The manager also mentioned that he will not be able to do inter region transfers. The manager also recommended that I get a brick from a better respected source (corobrik) for R5, so that I won't be pressured into making a decision I'm not comfortable with and can get what I paid for.

If this was not intended for KZN, as indicated by the email feedback from the 17th of August, then why is it still being advertised on the website for the store in Umhlanga on the 24th of August and indicates Not in Stock order now when it would clearly indicate Not Available if this was not available?

As this is now costing me daily with my contractors who have started the job at my home, kindly help me out by fulfilling my request.
