Bolt - Bolt driver trying to bump into me and ended up bumping into my things

I trust this will be found well.

My name is Buhle Duda and I would like to lodge a complaint against a bolt driver namely Thokozani Mvelasi driving a red car but I can't retrieve his number plate from my previous ride because it's not visible anymore.

Today after work I requested from Johannesburg Parent and Child Counselling Centre to 20 Marshalltown in Johannesburg which is where I reside but when the ride was a minute away I sent a text to the driver to pick me up inside the building since most drivers wait by the gate. However, when I was outside the building the driver was neither at the door nor at the gate so I decided to call him because in accordance to the app it said he had arrived. When I called him the driver said he is right below the building and luckily while we were on the phone a KFC cashier asked about the pieces of meat he wanted to exhange so I was obviously shocked that the driver decided to go through the drive in and buy himself food after he had said that he has arrived so I asked him if he is at KFC and he confirmed so I told him that I am waiting by the gate. Upon arrival I was angry but I decided not to say anything so I asked to open the boot so that I can put my things then he said why are we not apologizing for making him wait so I asked why should I apologize when he was the one that made me wait then he said I'm disrespectful because he waited for me so we started having an argument and my main question was why did he not communicate with me about his grievance just like I texted him that he should enter the building and not wait outside. He did not even wait the 5 minutes that he supposedly waited for because my sister was waiting for him downstairs and she said she did not see him.

After the argument he then said I should cancel my trip if I don't want his ride and I told him given that he is the one with the problem he shouId cancel and his response was "I will do no such thing because you connected your ride with your own card" after that he threatened me and said he'll get me and I replied by saying it's fine. He went inside his car and reversed towards us so we ran for our lives because he wanted to hit us wit his car but luckily for us our things were in front of us hence his car ran through my stuff namely my suitcase, food and my documents then he sped off with his car before I could pictures.

I then went to the Hillbrow Police Station to open a case of intimidation and hit & run but Miss or Mrs Muthelo said we do not have a case given that the driver did not hit us with his car, had he hit us with his car then it would have been a different story therefore I have no case number but I do have pictures of tyre print on the envelope.

I hope my complaint will be sorted as soon as possible because an angry man like that is a danger to society especially given the statistics of violence against women and children in South Africa.
