Good day, I was contacted by bidvest Insurance about 6 months ago for mechanical warranty on my car. I submitted a claim about 3 weeks ago and I'd not get any support from them from the beginning so I contacted the Ombudsman and suddenly they were eager to assist only to my own disappointment for they will only pay R2000 on a quote from one of their own approved companies. And now besides the fact that I'm sitting with out transportation for the date of the claim I have to pay for the quote and the lowbed to deliver the car to my house to fix it myself!!!!!! I would not recommend anyone to take any tipe of insurance from bidvest !!!!!!!

They called me endisly and sent me sms on a daily basis, I eventually took insurance only to be disappointed. Had to pay R4800 to get my car assessed an R6870 to get my car in parts back home and fixed it my self costing me R22000 That all after cartime in Benoni quoted R85000!!!!!! Would not recommend them to any one !!!!!

Would you buy again? No
